Andres Colunga Gutierrez, 72, of Alleyton, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2019 in Alleyton, TX. He was born on December 14, 1946 to Roman Colunga and Valentina Gutierrez in Mexico. He married Ramona Serrano Rojas Colunga.

Andres lived in the Columbus area since 1993. He worked as a ranch manager for many years. Also, he previously worked for Columbus Tree & Lawn Service and Columbus Livestock Commission.

Andres is survived by his wife Ramona Rojas Colunga of Alleyton, TX; daughters, Juana Maria Colunga of El Monte, CA, and Hilda Colunga and husband Julio Valenzuela of Alleyton, TX; sons, Jorge Luis Colunga and wife Gladys of Monson, CA, Jose Martin Colunga and wife Mayra of Alleyton, TX, Jose Prudencio Colunga of Alleyton, TX, and Andres Alejandro Colunga, Jr. and wife Nancy of Alleyton, TX; 23 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Roman Colunga, his mother Valentina Colunga, infant son Jose Prudencio Colunga, and grandson Eric Cruz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm led by Fr. Nelson Gonzalez. Also, visitation on Saturday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. Fr. Nelson Gonzalez will be officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus, Texas.

Pallbearers are Andres Colunga, Jr., Jose Martin Colunga, Julio Valenzuela, Jose Prudencio Colunga, Ivan Valenzuela, Martin Rojas, Jorge Luis Colunga, and Enrique Hercules.

Memorials are to given to the charity on your choice.
