Case Bradley Beken

Case Bradley Beken, 14, of Weimar, Texas passed away on September 9, 2018 in Victoria, Texas to be with his beloved Jesus.

Case was born on January 22, 2004 to Brad and Robin Beken in La Grange, Texas.

Case was a special person that people could not forget after they met him. He made each person feel valued because he never forgot them or their voice! He touched so many people with his courage, his faith, his strengths, and his beautiful smile.

Case had a special relationship with his God; his faith and interest in the religious world was limitless. Case was confirmed on April 22, 2018 at the United Church of Christ.

Case always had a story to tell you! He loved the outdoors, he loved to fish, he loved his cattle, and he always enjoyed trips to deer camp and time spent with friends and family. Case was never afraid to try something one time and if he didn't like it he never tried it again. He never let his vision or health get him down in life. He even worked for Holman Valley Steakhouse on the weekends.

Case is survived by his parents Brad and Robin Beken, and brother Tim; grandparents Art and Karen Beken of Weimar, and A.B. and Dorothy C. Lewis of Conroe. Uncles and aunts Rick and Carrie Hrozek of The Woodlands, Russell and Kristen Baumbach of Weimar, Brett and Kimberly Lewis of Spring, Robert and Kimberly Crow of Houston; and cousins Wayne Hrozek, Shannon Fedler, Tyler Baumbach, Kendall Baumbach, Bryce Lewis, Brittlynn Lewis, Kate Crow, and Kirby Crow.

Visitation will be held at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus on Thursday, September 13, from 5 to 7:30 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Viewing will be Friday, September 14 at the United Church of Christ, Weimar, at 11am-1 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm with Pastor Kristin Galle officiating. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Weimar, Texas
