Condolences to all..
Dr Koenig will be missed greatly! He went to High School with my dad, Rueben Muench.. He never failed to ask about him and Mom. He was a fantastic surgeon, who his patients adored.

To Richard,Karen, and Kenneth,I'm sorry for the loss of your Dad.I only remember seeing and talking with him twice. It didn't take long to see his love and devotion to his family.I still remember his knowledge and love of the many species of plants he grew and nourished. That is the very way I saw him take care of his family. The world will miss this quiet man and all he did for it.May God always bless his children.

He was a 50 yr plus Mason , among his other wonderful accomplishments , this is a very esteemed endeavor, not only a ccomplishd by a handful of Masons. Dr. Koenig was one of the few individuals in my life that gave me high inspirations. Rest in peace my Brother.

We are so sorry for the loss of your father. We have the privilege of knowing the Koenig family now for just over four years. They to have become part of our family. Reuben also was like a dad, and I called him Dad. Loved to just sit and visit with him. He and Karen spent last Thanksgiving and Christmas in our home. They are our family. Dad gave me so many words of encouragement, he will be missed to much. Love you Dad!

My condolences go to the entire Koenig family. Rudy and I worked together, side by side in the operating room, days and nights, for nearly 30 years in Victoria. He enjoyed going to Texas A&M football games, feeding pecans by hand to his backyard squirrels, and being in the company of his family. He often said, "None of us get out of this life alive, so make the most out of it." Rudy, congratulations for a life well-lived. You did make the most of it! Steve Hougen, M.D.
